He believes that by removing colour the focus is shifted, distractions are minimised and viewers impressions are altered creating, wherever possible, drama, mood and narrative power. He'll be show and discussing prints from his Street, Square Abstracts and India work.

Specialising in industrial landscapes and using 5x4, 7x5 and 10x8 cameras Ian is looking at the dicotomy firstly between two canals, one abandoned, one working and secondly the industry of Tin Mining in Cornwall and the East Mediterranean.
|28th August||Clive Haynes FRPS||'Mono - Culture' ... Adventures in Seeing.
During this presentation Clive will show his style and approach to monochrome photography. This will be a visual journey embracing traditional landscape photography, figurative work, thematic approaches, composite panels and abstract concepts. The evening will also include a few AVs, demonstrations of stereo photography using any camera and Clive's method processing infrared files.

John Tuckey is a photographer with a passion for Black and White images, and a taste for vintage and retro themes.
|23rd October||Leigh Preston and Peter Johnson||Leigh and Peter will be presenting a Black & White workshop evening and using a series of A2 and A3 prints, with an emphasis on workflow, colour management for monochrome and image manipulation both for quality and 'artistic' purposes.|
|27th November||Tony Broom||'Some more Monosaurus'.
Sequel to Tony's 'Travels of a Monosaurus' in which Tony felt that the weather was usually against him, but for his type of photography this is not always a problem. He has a quality in his photography and his printing – the light he seems to find, the sharpness of the images and the fine details he manages to achieve in the printing.
