ALAN STRINGER PORTFOLIO

I’m a photographer who has not succumbed to the lure of digital and still work in the darkroom solely in monochrome. My current genre of interest is in what can loosely be described as ‘Street Photography’ where the subject(s) are unaware of their being photographed. I attach the word loosely as I also take pictures inside buildings such as cafes and galleries.

On the equipment side, following the demise of the Contax brand, I transferred my allegiance to Nikon and have a couple of F6s used principally with 24mm and 35mm prime lenses.

I hold the distinctions ARPS and DPAGB and have a BPE 3* award.
