WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

We've already got a few Assignments in mind and once a few members have joined this group we'll publish the first one and you'll get a message that will let you know.

Give it a try. We'll all be learning as we go and if anyone has an idea to make PhotoAssignments work better then let the Editor know and we can always tweak the format.

Please note that PhotoAssignments are really about submitting images that you've either recently taken or have taken specially for the assignment. It's not about submitting images that 'fit the assignment' but have already been selected by salons and exhibitions and already won awards.

Let's keep it fresh! Let's not get too competitive! Let's keep it fun!

Submission information

  • Save your image as JPG with 2000px on the long edge and 80% image quality setting.
  • Tell us a little about your image that describes your idea, the circumstances, your choice of style. Keep it fairly brief - 3 or 4 lines of text is about right.
  • You must include your name with your upload.
  • You can submit as many images you like to each assignment.
  • You must be a member of the Cotswold Monochrome group and the Special Interest Group in order to submit an image.
