Mike Walker

My interest in photography began in my early twenties when I was travelling in my military career. I started with a Kodak Retinette IB 35mm camera which I still have and use occasionally. Having no “dark room” I used slide film mainly land, sea and urban landscapes and still life. On returning to civilian life my photography took a back seat but still managed to do some when I travelled. Retiring from full time work and with the coming of the digital age my interest was rekindled this using Olympus Camedia 4 megapixel 10x zoom and Panasonic Lumix FX01 cameras. I am still photographing ‘scapes and still life but look for the unusual and odd subjects.
